Glossybox August 2012

I'm actually a bit behind on my Glossybox as I've just recieved my September box but I haven't looked at it yet as I don't want to spoil the surprise before I've looked at my August box.

This month's box has a theme of International Superstars and contains products from different countries.

Here's what I recieved:
  • Alessandro Pro White - Germany
  • DHC Deep Cleansing Oil - Japan
  • All For Eve For The Eve Appeal Eve's Balm
  • Vera Valenti L'ombre a Paupiere Margarita - Spain
  • Lipcote - UK
  • Glossybox Lipstick in Glossy Pink

I've had a quick look at each of the products and I think I may like most of them but I'm going to try them out this week then post up my review and hopefully I can get back up to date soon :)

Glossybox July 2012 Review Part 2

I meant to post this a few days ago but I've been really busy.
Here's the 2nd part of my Glossybox July 2012 review.

Collin Resultime Regenerating Collagen Gel

Beauty card says: Multitasking superhero containing 15 key skin molecules. Use daily as a serum or sleep mask.

I don't need to use this yet as I'm still quite young so my mum tried this out for me.

She said, " It had a nice texture to put on and my skin felt softer and smoother straight away and my wrinkles were less noticeable. I would definitely recomment using this product."

If this product is still about when I need it then I might start using it.

Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Sea Spray

Beauty card says: Create a tousled, beachy style any time. This surf inspired spray adds texture and body to any locks.

Not that my hair needs any more texture as there is so much of it, I tried this out anyway. I sprayed it on my hair when it was damp but I wasn't too keen on it as I didnt think it worked too well and just made my hair feel a bit yucky. I may try it on my hair when it's dry to see if it comes out any better. I think this is more suitable for people who's hair is not as thick.

Glossybox July 2012 Review Part 1

Sorry for not posting in a while but I've not been very well. Anyway I'm much better now and finally here's the first part of my review on my Glossybox July 2012. I'm going to do it in 2 parts as there's some products I haven't had a chance to try out yet so I will be doing that this week and hopefully post that next weekend.

Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Lip Frosting

Beauty card says: A multifunctional cream gloss. Use on lips for a tint of colour or cheeks for a luminous glow.

I wasn't too keen on the texture of this when I first tried it but I'm liking it now. The colour's nice and it smells quite sweet. I tried it on my cheeks as well but i don't really like the way it feels on my skin when putting it on so I'm probably not likely to wear this on my cheeks again. I just used my finger to put this on but I may try using a lip brush as sometimes I was going over my lips onto my skin.

Kryolan Satin Powder

Beauty card says: This micro-fine powder will create extraordinary shimmer effect eye make up.

When I looked at the colour of this in the pot I didn't think I'd like it but after putting it on I'm loving it. It has a lovely shimmer to it and it kind of matches to a pair of trousers I have. I used a brush to apply this to my eyes and it goes on very nicely although I did find later in the day it had worn off a little bit.

There isn't a name for this colour on the box but it's number is SP555.

Monu Extra Rich Night Cream

Beauty card says: A luxurious night cream to intensively nourish and firm whilst you sleep.

I've never heard of this brand before this so wasn't sure if it would be any good or not. This is for dry/sensitive skin so this is good for me as my skin is a bit dry. I've tried this every night for the past week and have noticed a difference, my skin feels a lot better so I will keep using this until it runs out.

I'm going to try to get the next part up in the next few days as i have already recieved my next Glossybox.
